Math++ – practicals summer 2018/19

Practicals are held only sometimes (usually after a new problem set is published) on Wednesday 15:40 in S9. They are taught by me and Martin Tancer.

Problem sets

Set 1: published 26 February, hints 19 March, deadline 26 March
Set 2: published 12 March, hints 2 April, deadline 9 April
Set 3: published 9 April, hints 30 April, deadline 7 May
Set 4: published 30 April, hints 21 May, deadline 28 May
Set 5: published 14 May, hints by email, deadline 4 July

Practicals 4 (15 May): Measure concentration
Practicals 5 (22 May): Functional Analysis

Credit

To pass you must obtain 28 points. All problem sets together will be worth at least 112 points. When hints for a problem set are published, its points are reduced to half.

The solutions should be either emailed as PDF to address husek+matpp@iuuk.mff.cuni.cz or submitted on paper at beginning of the lecture.
