The orange state wants to know where its failure edge (Back) or shortcut edge (Shortcut) goes. Click the target state. Back(α) = longest proper suffix of α that is a state; Shortcut(α) = longest proper suffix of α that is a needle. Answered edges stay drawn, so the automaton grows as you play.

Scoring: a correct answer is worth up to 10 points, minus one point per second you think (but at least 3).
