Analytická kombinatorika - Analytic combinatorics (NDMI087)
Brief synopsis: power series, ordinary and exponential generating
functions, basics of complex analysis, application of complex-analytic
tools in combinatorics. No prior knowledge of complex analysis (or any other analysis) is
needed. Some prior familiarity with generating functions, e.g. from the
basic course in Combinatorics and graphs, may be beneficial. The course will be taught in English.
The lecture takes place on Monday at 14:00 in the room S8. The
tutorials take the form of homework assignments, whose solutions are
then discussed on Monday after the lecture.
