Graphs and networks - tutorials

Basic information

Tutorials are every Tuesday from 12:20 in room SU1 (ground floor, entrance from the shared computer laboratory Rotunda).

Tutorials are in turns practical and theoretical. During practical tutorials we will work with specific graphs and real-world netorks. On theoretical tutorials we will deepen our understanding of theoretical knowledge gained from lectures.

Gaining tutorial credit

Throughout the semester there will be 3 short exams oriented on understanding the material from lectures, each exam for 10 points. This makes overall 30 points which can be obtained from exams.

By being active during practical tutorials you gain 5 points per practical tutorial. This leads to 30 points.

The condition for gaining the tutorial credit is having 30 points.

Missing

If you are unable to attend the practical tutorial from any reason (or if you fail to be active enough), you can send your solution anytime before the next tutorial, by which you can gain 5 points.

In justified cases you can ask for a replacement homework. This is typically a task analogous to the tasks done during the given tutorial.

There will be a possibility of a replacement (or repair) exam for students who missed at least one exam or scored less than 15 points in the original exams.
